The Importance of Eye Exams
Age can bring changes that affect eyesight and the health of your eyes. Regular eye exams are vital in detecting problems, as many vision-threatening conditions have no symptoms early in the course of disease. With early intervention, many eye problems can be treated and the risk of vision loss reduced. Regular eye examinations can also help to detect diseases in other parts of the body, such as diabetes or high blood pressure. Having regular eye exams is a way to actively take part in your health care.
