The Transportation You Need to Take Care of Your Health
Because getting to medical care, facilities, programs, and doctors is essential to your health care, there are programs to help transport you. UPMC provides free shuttle service between some hospitals and facilities.

UPMC Medical Transportation

• UPMC Shuttle (Oakland campus)
  • Known as UPMC's Blue Shuttle
  • Runs weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Loops the Oakland campus every 40 minutes.

• UPMC Oakland - Shadyside Shuttle
  • Service between Oakland and Shadyside
  • Five stops in Oakland, two in Shadyside, and one in Schenley Gardens.

• UPMC St. Margaret
  Shuttle:
• Available at no cost
• Service from New Kensington area to UPMC Harmar and UPMC St. Margaret.
• Two round trips each day

Shared Ride Program:
• A partnership with the Area Agency on Aging.
• Offers access to medical services in UPMC facilities across county lines where doctors have admitting privileges
