The research day is celebrated by a competitive poster session, where more than 75 posters are displayed. A panel of judges represented by esteemed faculty from the University judge the posters and cash awards are granted in four distinct categories: graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, junior faculty, and physician-in-research-training. The research day is sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh Institute on Aging. The list of co-sponsors continues to grow each year. Sponsors are recognized in the Research Day book for each year. |
