Geriatric Education Center of Pennsylvania (GEC/PA)

The Geriatric Education Center of Pennsylvania’s (GEC/PA) mission is to maintain and improve the health and well-being of Pennsylvania’s elderly population by increasing the level of geriatric expertise among existing and future health care professionals. Key audiences are health care professionals, administrators, health educators, and students interested in pursuing health care careers. A consortium among the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania State University, and Temple University, GEC/PA provides interdisciplinary and discipline-specific geriatric educational and training opportunities for health care professionals and educators.
