Aging Institute of UPMC Senior Services and the University of Pittsburgh

Deborah Brodine has worked for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center since 1992 in various administrative and financial capacities.  She is currently responsible for overall operational control of Community Provider Services regional operations, which encompass all post-acute services in UPMC’s western Pennsylvania market and include both wholly-owned and joint venture activities. 

Ms. Brodine has negotiated and represented Community Provider Services ownership and interest in a variety of joint venture activities including UPMC Senior Communities, Community Life/PACE Program, Biotronics, Centers for Rehab Services, Concentra, Quest Diagnostic Venture, UPMC/Jefferson Regional Home Health, Life Home Care and Rx Partners-LTC and has been responsible for overall administration of UPMC’s Occupational and Environmental Health Services since 1995. 

Ms. Brodine was the President of UPMC Work Partners from 1998 to 2003 and led integration efforts of that program with The Workplace and the Center for Occupational Health.  She has managed and administered inpatient and outpatient physical and occupational therapy programs for Presbyterian University Hospital from 1994 to 1997 and was responsible for budget consolidation and performance bench-marking efforts for the UPMC’s Oakland campus from 1992 to 1995. 

Ms. Brodine is an Associate of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Member of Health Executive Forum, Member of Delta Omega Honor Society in Public Health, Member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society in Business.
